Twitter asks its employees to work from home because of coronavirus.

More than 3100 people have lost their lives and more than 90000 have been infected by CoronaVirus. This massive increase have impacted the whole world.

Due to this deadly virus many companies have started to shut down their offices and industries.

As per the lateste news Twitter has asked its employees to start work from home from coming Monday.

Here is what Chief HR Jennifer Christie of Twitter has said in recent blog post;

We are strongly encouraging all employees globally to work from home if they’re able. Our goal is to lower the probability of the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus for us — and the world around us.

As per the update of Chief, it is mandatory for employees working in Japan, Hong Kong and South Korea offices.

Japan has already issued a notice for closure of schools and employers are asked to encourage employees to work remotely.

On the other hand Hong Kong’s civil servants returned to offices after long off of month.

Working from home is not only thing companies have asked employees, they are asked to cancel all the travel too. Many conferences have been postponed or cancelled too including the major one of Google.
