Netflix Pakistan decreases Subscription Charges

While Netflix increased monthly subscription charges in Europe, on the other hand it has decided to decrease the charges in their standard and premium packages by Rs. 400

In the beginning this will be for new users and later on it will effect to all users in Pakistan. So most of users have received notifications on October 14 that they will get revised charges in the next monthly bill.

Here is the breakdown of previous charges and new charges;

Standard Package;

It was Rs. 1200 previously after effect of new charges it will be Rs. 800

You get 2 screens for streaming simultaneously and you can download content on 2 devices along with HD streaming.

Premium Package;

Before it costed Rs. 1500, new charges will be Rs. 1100

You get 4 screens for streaming simultaneously and you can download content on 4 devices along with HD and ultra streaming.

Why?

This is question popped up in almost every mind, is this some new strategy to increase viewers or current users leaving Netflix, this price change will retain the users or just to compete other streaming services?
