Netflix pressed pause button to the production of multiple tv series and movies

Netflix pressed pause button to the production of multiple tv series and movies. Where world is planning to work from home there Netflix takes step to fight covid19 too.

Netflix is one of the world’s leading production house which provides classic tv series and movies around the world. As coronavirus is leaving high impact on the world industry Netflix also stopped production of the major shows.

Well the break is not for long, it is only for 3 weeks as precautionary measures issued by US and Canadian government.

Wondering which shows may effect because of this, here is the list of top watching shows;

  • The Witcher (Oh man I was looking forward to it.)
  • Lucifer (Oh Lucy I am missing you already)
  • Russian Doll (I have not watched it really!)
  • Stranger Things (#Sad)

Now,

We waited for our favorite shows, we will have to wait a bit more to watch them.

The good news is;

Netflix says that they will not stop all the shows but they will take step by step.

Unfortunately it is not only Netflix which is taking hard decisions lately, here is what Warner Bros has to say;

With the rapidly changing events related to COVID-19, and out of an abundance of caution, Warner Bros. Television Group is halting production on some of our 70+ series and pilots currently filming or about to begin. The health and safety of our employees, casts and crews remains our top priority. During this time, we will continue to follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control as well as local officials and public health professionals in each city where our productions are based.

Apple TV suspended production for;

  • Stephen King’s Lisey’s Story
  • The Morning Show of Jennifer Anniston
  • Servant (Thriller Series)

On the other hand Disney did full stop on following;

  • The Falcon
  • The Winter Soldier
