240 bed isolation center in Jhelum:
Isolation center is made in Dina in the area of local private college. Addition to this another 120 bed center is to be established in campus of punjab uni.
KP reaches to 27 total cases.

*AJK government cancel public transport for 3 days.
No public transpoer will leave AJK or enter as preventive measure to control covid19.
* Punjab is producing 127000 masks everyday.
Captain M Usman Healthcare minister said, 127000 masks being produced every day which includes 50000 (Lahore) 20000 (Rawalpindi), 20000 (Faisalabad) and remaining in other cities.

PIA has cancelled all international flights so plan your travel accordingly. This will be practiced till 28 March.

Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed informs people that 34 trains have been cancelled till Ramazan 15th which will be May 8th or 9th.
The decision was taken due to covid 19, Minister said no to travel unnecessary.
CM Sindh Murad Shah appeals people to go in self quarantine for next 3 days.
He said next three days will be hard for all of you as no offices, schools, hotels and malls will be opened.
So it is a request from team parhley stay at home, give time to your families and let the government do it’s job to save us all.

Careem announced medical insurance for its captains/other workers in the time of crisis due to coronavirus. Careem is well known taxi service and number one in Pakistan before uber and uplyft.
Good thing about this is everything is digital, captains can reimburse from their mobile application. Insurance covers everything from coronavirus to hospitalization.
PTCL and ufone customer care services will be closed till March 31st.
Due to increase in coronavirus patients in Pakistan, they have decided to close all the centers for public dealing to prevent from covid19.
Now we all know PTCL services are down sometime badly, they have shared alternate to contact with PTCL and ufone online.

Pak Post will deliver you your pensions at doors.
Pak post has decided to deliver the pensions of millions at their doorsteps. You do not need to visit any bank or other institute. Minister Murad Saeed has announced this.
This step has been taken after meeting with PM Khan. On the other hand to orders have been issued to provide all the facilities to field employees of Pak Post.
SECP asks companies to shift their customer support services to alternative solutions.
The step is appreciated as the tension of corona is increasing double/triple daily in Pakistan. Where it has hit global economy, SECP asks companies to divert so that business activites could be continued.
Here is what is the they said;
They should prevent premises from becoming a node of COVID-19 transmission and ensure that adequate plans and means are in place. The companies should also ensure alternative arrangements with suppliers and customers so that business operations can continue.
Huwaei Pakistan has jumped in help Pakistan in times of corona.
Huwaei has provided 4K video conferencing system to fight against deadly covid 19. Health Ministry and Digital Pakistan has received the system so far and it is to be installed in other 6 major locations in all provinces.
Pakistan is the first country in Asia which brought covid 19 tests kits from China.
Even in the hard times, I appreciate the export of such kits. After the 1st case popped up in Pakistan, Pakistan took its chances and got the kits proactively.
Initially 12000 kits were delivered in Karachi Airport, a single kit can test 1000 samples.

We are working with a multi-faceted approach in areas of surveillance, response, diagnostic services, and many others to ensure the optimal health and well-being of people of Pakistan. We are capable of handling the situation in case the disease spreads.
Pak Army steps up to setup 10000 bed facility for quarantine in Karachi.
In such times Army never leaves Pakistani people, the Sindh government steps are appreciated and now Army has stepped in. InshaAllah we will survive this too.
CM KP has advised to convert all the guest houses to quarantine facility.
When CM Sindh took steps earlier, KP CM has joined the league and do some announcements. Government handed charge of these houses to KP Health ministry.
Government launched website for coronavirus updates and announced to launch an app too.
Recently Pak Government launched website, helpline and now they have announced to launch an app too for all the mobile users.

$600m emergency Package for Pakistanis by government;
Economic Affairs Division is finalising an approx $600 million emergency package with Multilaterals for dealing with Covid-19 outbreak across the country. It includes reallocations and fresh financing.
