Coca Cola way of rejecting a candidate.
After investing multiple years of life and a handsome amount of money on graduation, we all try to get to some multinational organization.
It is awful when get rejection. We know that they have to share bad news with hope that candidates will apply next time. The response is cold some times impassive.
What is more unpleasant that the recruiter does not even reply.
Why not giving a thought to do make it more pleasant for rejected candidates. Here is Coca Cola way of rejecting a candidate. Coca Cola recently launched MTO (Management Trainee Officer) Program.
We all have dreams to work in such organization, thousand of people apply every year but only few of them get there.
Here is what general manager Coca Cola told the applicants who did not make it;
We all can see the empathetic message and encouraging applicant to apply for other available programs through out the 365 days..
To make that rejection more pleasant coca cola sent a token of appreciation in shape of Coke cans.
This rejection did noot hurt any feelings, although they made some more potential customer who would always select Coca Cola over other organizations.
Maybe next time they will try harder to get there.
