9 mineral water brand declared unsafe for drinking in Pakistan!
Drinking water is basic necessity of every human being on earth. But due to increase in population, climate change and less water, it is unfortunate to find good water at cheap rates. On the other hands these devil companies making water which is unsafe to drink.
A report (monitoring report from July to Sep) was issued by Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) on Wed which states that 9 brands including;
- Pure Water
- Plus pyas
- 3 Star
- Douro
- Real Plus
- Pure It
- Elayn Plus
- Crystal Maya
- Aqua Saad
As per report, 118 samples were conducted from following cities;
- Islamabad
- Rawalpindi
- Gujranwala
- Peshawar
- Multan
- Lahore
- Bahawalpur
- Rahim Yar Khan
- Tando Jam
- Quetta
- Karachi
Why were they nominated unsafe?
- High level of arsenic. (Arsenic is the cuase of various skin, heart, kidney, birth and numerous types of cancer too.
- Microbiological combination (Causes diareha, Cholera, Hepatitis, Typhoid etc)
- Excessive amount of Sodium and Fluoride
Well, current government has taken step against this water mafia.
Government through ministry of Science and Technology has assigned this task to Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources (PCRWR) for continuous monitoring eg: quarterly.
Thank you so much PSQCA for this action, this was much needed because we as nation want clean water for our children.
Well on the other hand, CJ (Chief Justice) recently took action against all the companies which are taking bore water and selling on high prices. This is under process.
