We all know Qatar is an Islamic country and invested billions of dollars to host FIFA World Cup 2022. But it is on news due to many other reasons except football.
2 days ago Qatar prohibited beer in stadiums and asked all visitors to wear sensible clothes. Here are 3 reasons I can call it FIFA 2022 in the most islamic way.
- Ban on Beer in the stadiums while matches
- Women with short dresses
- Presence of leading Islamic Scholoar Dr Zakir Naik
- Hadiths and Ayaats of Quran are displayed all over the country.
Ban on Beer in the stadiums while matches:
A very bad news to all the football fans who used to drink beers and celebrate in their own way and create mess in stadiums. Qatar has banned the beers and alcoholic drinks in the stadiums.
Qatar is having very tough time facing criticism all over the world. On the other hand FIFA’s head said you can survive few hours without beer.
Let me share that beer or alcoholl is not banned in the country but they have banned it in the stadiums, you can drink in the bars anytime you want.
Women with short dresses:
Another criticism faced by Qatar is that they have questioned on ladies dress. It is prohibited to wear short dress which are against the country’s laws.
Many people saying it shouldn’t be banned or prohibited. Anyone can wear what they want. Well this happened because in previous world cups women only painted their bodies but as Qatar is Islamic country it already banned short dresses so that this could not happen.
Hadiths and Ayaats of Quran are displayed all over the country:
Qatar government has displayed murals of Hadiths of Holy Prophet on big boards to introduce the incoming football fans from all over the world to Islam and it’s teachings.
This is great way to show people that Islam is peace loving country and Muslims are good people.
Presence of leading Islamic Scholar Dr Zakir Naik:
Not sure if this is connected with FIFA or not but as Qatar is in full controversies, some people also said He has been invited on purpose. Dr. Zakir Naik will give lectures on different topics on different places.
Lastly news is match will start with tilawat of Quran Shareef.
As a muslim, MashaAllah, this is going to be the best FIFA WORLD CUP. May the best team wins the title.
